For over thirty years the Newman Art Expo has been a major event in the life of Newman College. The event raises funds for Newman College and supports the local arts and community.Taking place on Friday 23 March at the school, the exhibition showcased some cutting edge and stylish pieces.

This year we were proud to be sponsors of the event. It is way of saying thank you to our client and also help the arts community.

What is more exciting is that not only were we involved as a sponsor, but one of our Account Managers, Ben Brennan, had some of his art exhibited.

Since moving to Scott Print almost 5 years ago, he has been servicing clients such as Newman College with their print projects. He was an arts student and has recently rekindled his passion for drawing and painting.

His short term goal is to keep producing pieces whilst the inspiration is flowing and work towards his own exhibition.

Ben entered three pieces for exhibition and sale. Each piece was produced with acrylic paints and indian ink on Canvas, using expressive line and texture.

Ben was pleased that two of his three paintings sold on the exhibition’s opening night, with the third sold on the Sunday.
